From acting and improv to full-scale musicals and production workshops, Dynamic Youth Theatre offers inspiring, skill-building programs that nurture creativity, confidence, and a love for the stage.

Musical Production: James and the Giant Peach

Join us on the most wild, magical, outrageous adventure! This show is packed with comedy, heart, and tons of big character roles for ALL personality types. In our shows, kids aren’t just memorizing lines, they are building confidence, problem solving, creating, leading, collaborating, and discovering their own voice. Come be part of this fantastical world and help bring Roald Dahl’s story to life onstage! Auditions are open to all! Come shoot for something BIG this spring!​

Rising Stars
Ages 6 - 8 years

Lights, laughter, and imagination, welcome to the world of theatre!


Our Rising Stars class is the perfect place for kids ages 6–8 to jump into acting. This high energy, super creative class introduces young performers to the fundamentals of theatre through games, storytelling, and tons of imaginative play.

Each week, students will dive into:


• Acting games that spark creativity
• Improvisation that gets kids thinking fast and having fun
• Character creation—from brave heroes to goofy creatures
• Movement activities that help kids express themselves with confidence
• Teamwork challenges that build connection and communication

 

Whether your child loves pretending, being silly, telling stories, or stepping into different worlds, this class gives them the space to explore, take risks, and SHINE.

​

By the end of the semester, our young actors will show off their new skills in a mini showcase for friends and family.

Rising Stars
Acting Lab

Ages 9-10 years
Welcome to Acting Lab, where curious young performers get to experiment, explore, and bring bold characters to life! This high energy, creativity packed class is designed for kids who are ready to dive deeper into acting while still keeping things fun, fast paced, and imaginative.
​

In Acting Lab, students learn to:

 

  • Build dynamic, believable characters with personality and motivation

  •  Make bold acting choices that stand out on stage

  • Think quickly and creatively through exciting improv games

  • Explore beginner scene work and discover how stories come alive

  • Collaborate as an ensemble, practicing teamwork, listening, and trust

 

Each week feels like a new adventure, students will experiment with different acting tools, stretch their imaginations, and gain confidence in expressing themselves in big, brave ways.

 

At the end of the semester, families are invited to a special Parent Showcase, where students will share scenes, characters, and skills they’ve created in the lab. It’s a fun, informal chance to celebrate their growth and see their creativity in action!

Act One Actors
Act One Actors
Ages 11-13 years

Step into the spotlight with Act One Actors, a once-a-week performance class where students become part of a hilarious one act comedy-a show where everything that can go wrong onstage… absolutely does! From forgotten lines to wild sound effects, this comedy celebrates the magic, mayhem, and laughter of live theatre.

 

In this class, students will:

​

  • Audition, get cast, and develop their roles discover the thrill of creating a character from scratch

  • Bring characters to life with bold choices, funny moments, and stage presence

  • Collaborate as an ensemble to build a story and support each other onstage

  • Prepare a full performance from first rehearsal to final curtain

​

The semester culminates in a Showcase, where students perform the full one-act comedy, showing off everything they’ve mastered onstage.

​

No experience necessary - just a great attitude, eagerness to learn, and a sense of humor! 

​

Class Act
Ages 14 - 18 years

Class Act is a performance focused acting class for teens. Welcoming beginners eager to explore the world of acting and advanced performers ready to elevate their craft. In a supportive, studio style environment, students will challenge themselves, refine their skills, and develop powerful, authentic performances.

​

In this class, teens will:

​

  • Explore a variety of acting techniques, from classic methods to contemporary approaches

  • Work on monologues and scene study, bringing characters to life with depth and specificity

  • Develop strong, confident choices and professional level discipline, learning to trust their instincts

  • Collaborate in ensemble work, learning to take direction, develop active listening skills, break down scripts

 

Through individual coaching and ensemble based practice, students will strengthen their confidence, versatility, and artistic voice, preparing them to step into roles with clarity, commitment, and impact. Class Act is perfect for teens serious about acting and ready to take their skills to the next level.

 

At the end of the semester, a mini Showcase will be presented to friends and family.
